Devuan GNU/Linux installation, upgrades and minimalism
This is the home of my user contributed docs for upgrading, installing, configuring Devuan with minimalism and alternative solutions to upstream forced dependencies. Since it's conception it has received a number of contributions from other users, most notably translations. The goal of this unofficial project is to help users get setup with Devuan and to be a general resource for minimalism.
Plans for this wiki
Currently I am very busy with every day life, so I am not able to update the wiki regularly.
Devuan developers are now working on releasing ASCII in order to catch up with the Debian release cycle. This means I will soon be working on ASCII upgrade instructions, and testing the different upgrade paths to document the methods.
Since much has changed with Devuan a lot of my current work will be partly deprecated by the ASCII release, and parts of it already need updating due to infrastructure changes. So the wiki needs to be updated to match the current infrastructure and usage needs, before I can start closing any other issues.
Thank you for your patience.
The new Devuan mirror
Recently amprolla3 was announced on the dev1galaxy forums. There have been a few changes that should be of interest to everyone.
Users will be able to receive updates much quicker thanks to a quicker merge time, so everyone should be advised to use the amprolla3 mirror hosted at pkgmaster.devuan.org sooner rather than later.

Thanks should go to parazyd and Wizzup for their fantastic work.
The eudev device manager is being tested for ascii
At a recent meet eudev transition and testing for ascii was discussed. The news here is that eudev is being tested for later integration into ascii as the default device node file manager, alongside udev which will still be available in ascii. I am working on a draft for ascii upgrades using eudev.
