Directory structure to make packaging possible.
I'd like to be able to turn this project into a source package we can use to build all the artwork packages to be pulled in.
To make this easier, can we re-configure to use the directory structure /[images etc]
So we end up with something like: installer splash in: installer-splash/ grub-boot splash in: boot-splash Desktop manager in: desktop-manager/ DE stuff in desktop-environments//[background|pixmaps|gtk-themes|qt-themes|...]
Where common elements go into "shared" as the | and symlinked into the places that use them.
Installer splash images should be named syslinux-splash.(png|svg) and 640x480. Remember to keep logo's and text either in the upper third or below in the bottom quarter of the height of the image.
Also note that for the installer splash we need to also have a grub splash for UEFI and some other archs so we can either have a special splash or symlink to the bootsplash. The layout requirements are different to the syslinux layout.
My intention is that each suite/ will contain only it's release relevant theme plus the packaging work. We'll need a nice them for ceres/unstable - perhaps something alluding to bleeding edge
