jaromil: hellekin: maybe there lacks a clear statement/explanation for absolute noobs and biounits without central nervous system: "every devuan package would fit into debian without any problems and we actually invite all app devels to prepare their packages for devuan (and debian implicitly) rather than only debian - which means those devels just need to avoid hard dependencies on systemd or any other initsystem"
maybe the wording is a tad rough yet, but I hope I conveyed the idea at least
people perceive devuan as an incompatible full clone of debian (incl a new developer for each package who had to rewrite it from scratch), while in fact devuan is more like a superset of debian
or, to put it (overly) simple: install systemd to devuan and you get debian. uninstall systemd from debian and you get... a pile of junk that's not working anymore
maybe insert such note somewhere between >>You will quickly notice that is not a matter of choosing packages and in fact Debian offers no choice.<< and >>Beware this APT source is exclusive...<<
